About Us
W.A.R. — War on Dog Homelessness is Oak Ranch Corp's commitment to fighting for dogs that have been abandoned, displaced, neglected, surrendered, or simply left without a family to call their own.
We believe every dog deserves more than survival. They deserve a second chance.
W.A.R. exists to help rescue dogs from homelessness, provide them with the care and support they need, and ultimately place them on the path toward safe, loving, forever homes.
Our vision is centered around creating an environment where rescued dogs can experience something many of them may have been missing: space, safety, human interaction, companionship, play, consistency, and love.
Rather than seeing a homeless dog as a problem to be managed, we see an animal whose story simply isn't finished yet.

Our mission is to wage a meaningful and compassionate war on dog homelessness by rescuing dogs in need, supporting their rehabilitation, preparing them for successful placement, and helping connect them with safe and loving forever homes.

Long-term goal
Our fundraising goals are more long term, as we have set the lofty goal of purchasing our own 1–5 acre ranch dedicated to rescuing dogs — and really starting the war on dog homelessness.
Until then, we will use a portion of our fundraising dollars to spotlight a dog of the month that we sponsor at various shelters and other dog rescues.
More Than One Rescue Effort
W.A.R. is intended to be more than an individual rescue effort. We want to be part of a larger movement that brings together communities, volunteers, donors, rescue partners, veterinarians, foster families, adopters, and others who believe that the number of homeless dogs can — and should — be dramatically reduced.
Every successful adoption represents two lives changed: the dog that finally has a home and the person or family whose life that dog becomes part of.
We want the dogs that come through W.A.R. to leave their past behind and begin something entirely different.
